Shaggy Palms, from Boston, is where Indie/Alternative gains mass as it approaches Pop and Electronic Dance, there you'll find Shaggy Palms passed out in a night club dumpster.

Shaggy Palms represent the mind-melding of two boyhood pals from the Boston area: writer, musician and world traveler Dave Vierling and L.A. transplant Neil Popkin (War Tapes, Dreamland, Brass Box). The story goes that after Vierling spent some time overseas teaching English as a second language, he sought out Popkin to flesh out some demos. A cross-country trip to Popkin’s home studio in Southern California later, Shaggy Palms was born.
